The effect of Origanum vulgare and Salvia officinalis extracts on The lipid profile of broiler chickens with ascites syndrome

The aim of present study was to evaluate the effect of Origanum vulgare and Salvia officinalis extracts on the lipid profile of broiler chickens with ascites syndrome. For this purpose, a total of ??? day-old broiler chickens (Ross???) in a completely randomized design were divided in to six groups, each groups contain ??? chicken (with ? replicates and ?? chickens in each replicate). Experimental treatments consisted of: Group?(control) received base ration. Group ? received base ration plus ?.?% Origanum vulgare extract, Group ? received base ration plus ?.?% Origanum vulgare extract, Group ? received base ration plus ?.??% vitamin C, Group ? received base ration plus ?.?% Salvia officinalis extract, Group ? received base ration plus ?.?% Salvia officinalis extract. At the end of experiment, blood samples were taken of all broilers and cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL and LDL were measured.
